Coyote pelt, dry tanned with feet and claws attached. From central region of Montana. Adult female coyote, with heavy January fur. Ears, eyes, nose, lips, and paws are prepared for the taxidermy process.
Several scars on the face, likely from fighting during the mating season. Pelt is from an older female coyote, as the teeth were worn and broken. 
 
Hide measures 42" in length - nose to base of tail. Tail measures an additional 15" in length. Eye to nose measures 3.75", and circumference at abdomen measures 19". Measurements are taken after the hide has been tanned, and the hide is not stretched while measurements are taken. Once rehydration of the hide occurs, additional stretch can be gained. 
Any holes or cuts are repaired on the leather side, and are not visible from fur side. 
Hide is suitable for taxidermy use by a competent and experienced taxidermist. Hide is otherwise suitable for display and crafts.
